Email Communication of 18 JUL 2012:
Unknown Foursome photo
This photo is part of a large collection owned and cared for by a recent visitor to the LSCGG. Many of the photos in the collection were of individuals identified by the owner or her family. All of the collection are photos produced by studios that were once found in the La Salle County area. This photo was unidentified.
Email received at LSCGG stated "...while looking at the guild web site I saw the featured mystery photo. The gentleman seated on the far left looks like he might be John J. Lehr, b. 10 Feb. 1854, m. 10 Feb. 1880 to Mary "Elizabeth" (Berge) in Ransom, IL, d. 29 Nov. 1924 and probably buried in the Grand Ridge cemetery. I can't identify the two women or the other man and may be incorrect as to who I think the man on the left is. However, this may give someone a clue as to where to search.
Sincerely, Eileen Kimber"
