Subject: photo search
Hi LSCGG,
I have another mystery photo I would love to identify.
This was found in a stack of Warnock family photos, but is not identified in any way. I have found records that Thomas and Annie Warnock owned several businesses in Oglesby over the years from about 1920 to 1950 so this may have been one, however this appears to be a café which was not one of their businesses that I can find. I see signs for fried fish, sandwiches and beer, ...and the painting on the window appears to say "Sam Proffit Buffet". If anyone has any ideas or recognizes anything, I would love to hear about it.
